Elizabeth Egan
Communications Coordinator (she/her)
Through a wide range of communications initiatives, Elizabeth amplifies the MJV's science, habitat, and education programs and supports its partner network. From coordinating the Monarch Conservation Webinar Series and MJV blog to producing MJV's monthly News, Elizabeth aims to inspire people to engage deeply with monarch and pollinator conservation in their communities. She also connects stakeholders with communications resources and conservation tools to further their monarch and habitat priorities.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She holds a B.S. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Natural Resource Recreation Management from the University of Missouri. Elizabeth formerly worked for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, serving as the Communications Coordinator for Missourians for Monarchs and NRCS Missouri. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities, including persuading her family and friends to plant milkweed.
