Habitat

The Monarch Joint Venture Habitat Program is dedicated to building, establishing, restoring, and enhancing monarch habitat throughout the country. The decline in the monarch butterfly population has been primarily attributed to the loss of breeding habitat, and the core purpose of the habitat program is to increase and improve the availability of that habitat for monarchs throughout their migratory range.
